The Employer Advisory Board consists of a diverse group of Human Resources professionals representing a broad array of employment sectors. Information gathered from Board meeting discussions and initiatives will advance UC Irvine's provision career services for the UCI student, alumni, and employer community. The Board meets three times throughout the academic year, and project work may occur throughout the year.
The Board will:
- Share current information regarding the job market for college graduates
- Identify the skills most needed in today's work world
- Better understand the career services landscape at UC Irvine and how to access our student talent
- Generate ideas to increase access to internship programs
- Provide feedback to the Division on new and exciting initiatives
- Assist in the development of new programs, share benchmarks, and identify best practices
