Please join us for Applied Medical Engineering Week on June 17 – 21, from 8am - 5pm. During this new, educational, week-long program, Applied Medical team members will help you expand your engineering abilities and professional skill set.
• Engage in interactive lectures by Applied Medical Engineers on how we design, develop and manufacture medical devices
• Learn how to design a 3D-printed object in SolidWorks and present the printed object for peer review
• Attend leadership workshops with our Career Advancement team to enhance your résumé and sharpen your interviewing and communication skills
• Discover how Applied Medical’s products improve patient outcomes
• Tour our facilities including manufacturing plants, machine shops, and automated assembly areas
• Receive an Achievement Certificate upon completion of the program (participants must attend each day of the program to receive the certificate)

Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit
June 19, – June 21,, 2019 –
The Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit is an immersive three day program that empowers, motivates, celebrates and provides a vision of what it is like to be a woman pursuing a career in tech.
What to expect:
Female students from diverse backgrounds, representing top partner schools across the country, will travel as our guests to our corporate headquarters in Boston, MA. Attendees will participate in workshops and activities to start them on the path to a successful career in tech by fostering leadership qualities, problem solving, and collaboration. Participants will have numerous opportunities to network with Women in Technology, peers, recent college hires, senior leaders, and recruiters to learn about working in tech, the types of roles they can pursue, and the skills they need for a successful career in tech.
In addition, students selected for the summit will have an opportunity to interview for a summer internship the following year. Summer interns, who perform exceptionally well, may receive a full-time employment offer.
When is the 2019 Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit?
The Liberty Mutual Women in Technology Summit will take place June 19 – June 21, 2019 – in Boston, MA. Liberty Mutual will incur all costs for approved travel, lodging and meal expenses.
In order to be eligible, you must:
•Be a current, full-time, female undergraduate student in your freshman or sophomore year
•Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
•Be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other related technical programs
•Possess strong technical, analytical, communication, & organizational skills
•Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
