The winner of RippleMatch’s 2025 Pathfinder Award, this program is a dynamic, virtual experience designed to equip college freshmen with valuable professional skills and to introduce them to the world of consulting and Oliver Wyman. Who is eligible to participate?This program is available to current college freshmen who have started their undergraduate degree at a U.S. or Canadian institution – Class of 2029 ONLY. All majors are welcome! What to Expect:Our program unfolds in three engaging phases over the course of several months outlined below:
Phase 1 (March): Introduction to Consulting and Oliver Wyman Discover the fundamentals of consulting and get acquainted with our firm. Learn about the consulting industry, its impact, and what sets us apart. Virtual sessions are expected to take place on March 11, and March 19,.
Phase 2 (April): A Day in the Life of a Consultant Gain insights into the daily activities of consultants. Learn more about exciting projects our consultants are working on right now and what it really means to be a professional problem solver. Virtual sessions are expected to take place on April 8, and April 16,.
Phase 3 (May): Career PrepPrepare for your future with our resource round, including case prep basics, professional development tips, and resume assistance. Virtual sessions are expected to take place on May 6, and May 21,.

Chris Ritter is the division director of scientific computing & AI and director of the Digital Innovation Center of Excellence at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). His team of ~100 computational and data scientists are changing the world’s future with AI/ML, digital twinning, digital engineering, multi-physics, HPC, and digital thread technologies across a portfolio of nuclear energy, non-proliferation, semiconductor, and defense applications. Chris founded INL's nationally leading digital engineering team which grew from 0 to over ~57 of the nation’s top researchers and developers in digital science. His team led the first nuclear reactor digital twin, built the Deep Lynx open digital thread platform, developed the first autonomous non-nuclear microreactor, and is actively building multiple petabyte-scale digital thread platforms. Additionally, he is the national technical director for AI at the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy. Prior to INL, Chris co-founded and led development of the #1 cloud-native MBSE tool, Innoslate, used in 107 counties across 2,000 companies around the world.
