Carlos has been with SoCalGas for 12 years, spending seven years in Organizational Effectiveness, where he facilitated personal and professional growth through leadership and soft skills development. His other roles at SoCalGas include positions in both the Safety and Wellness departments, where he established various wellness and safety programs, such as the Industrial Athlete Training Center

Students are invited to learn more about dance education careers from accomplished local dance educator, Shana Habel. This event has been planned in partnership with Dr. S. Ama Wray, Amanda Martz, and UCI Division of Career Pathways.Guest Speaker Biography: Shana Habel, MA, is a K-12 Arts Coordinator for the Los Angeles Unified School District where she supervises and supports K-12 dance educators and programming. Shana has taught dance at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels, teaching dance for elementary educators at Loyola Marymount University and serving as a field supervisor for the dance credential program at CSU East Bay. Shana is a past-president of the California Dance Education Association and served as a member of the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards writing team in Dance.  She is active in arts advocacy and has served on the Governor’s Task Force for Creative Schools. She is Lester Horton Award recipient for service to the field and an active member of the International Teaching Artist’s Collaborative Climate Collective. Shana currently serves on the Board of the Language of Dance® Center and is a Master Practitioner in the Language of Dance®.

CIA Career/Internship Information SessionLet’s Reach New Heights Together!
The CIA has numerous full-time positions as well as undergraduate and graduate internships and scholarships.
There are opportunities for foreign travel, language training, and overseas postings. CIA provides competitive salaries, relocation expenses, and student loan repayment programs.
All positions require US citizenship, relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and a top-secret security clearance.
