Opportunities for mentorship from UCI Law alumni and friends of UCI Law are informally available to all UCI Law students year round. In addition, the school coordinates a speed-mentoring event in the spring open to all 1L students.

Clinics & Real Life Learning
The UCI Law experiential learning program includes a required 6-unit core clinical course in which students may choose one of eight different clinics in which they act as the primary legal representative for their clients.

In addition to the year-long Lawyering Skills course, we offer professional skills programs in which upper-level students can learn valuable skills that lawyers need. These skills include legal research, writing and editing, and oral advocacy.
