Focus 2 Career: A free self-paced career and educational planning assessment tool. It will enable you to self-assess your career-relevant personal qualities and explore career fields and areas of study that are most compatible with your assessment results.
Steppingblocks: UCI students, faculty, and staff can immediately access UCI alumni data and rich employer insights to analyze a range of career paths based on job title, company, location, major, school, and more.
Vault: The Vault's Job Guides provides over 125 eBooks covering nearly all industries (from A to Z) featuring Wikipedia-like entries for dozens of jobs within each industry, for approximately 5,000 job entries total. Entries emphasize preparing for a career and getting your foot in the door. Note: Access available to all on campus. Off-campus access requires VPN (active UCInetID).
Forage: Bite-sized 5-6 hour virtual work experience programs that give students a genuine career advantage with Fortune 500 companies.
Micro-Internships with Parker Dewey: Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, project-based assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. Participating in micro-internships helps you explore different career paths while building your portfolio, expanding your network, and developing your skills as you seek the right full-time role.
