The In-Person Winter Career Fair is just around the corner! Make sure you’re ready to shine by planning your visit and ensuring a smooth check-in process. Here's everything you need to know:
Getting To the Career Fair
The indoor career fairs are located on the 1st Floor of the UCI Student Center in the Pacific Ballroom. Signs and staff will guide you to the entrance.
Ensure you arrive early to check in and maximize your time networking with employers.
Know Before You Go
Check-In Requirements: Digital Mobile ID
Student Check-In: To attend the Career Fair, you must have your Mobile UCI Student ID barcode ready for check-in. Screenshots are not accepted, so ensure you have the digital version downloaded on your phone ready to scan.
How to Access Your Mobile Student ID:
- Login to Atrium Connect: Use your UCInetID credentials and DUO authentication.
- Navigate on the sidebar to "Mobile ID/Mobile ID Display."
- Click "Add to Apple Wallet" or "GPay | Save to Phone."
- If you don't see this above, keep the window open for check-in.
What to Bring
- Your Mobile Student ID: Ensure your mobile student ID is accessible and the barcode is ready to scan.
- Multiple Copies of Your Resume: Some employers may request them.
- Notebook and Pen: To jot down notes or follow-up actions.
- Professional Attire: Dress to impress for those important first impressions.
Transportation and Parking
- Parking is available in nearby Student Center parking structure. Plan ahead to secure a spot as career fair days are very busy.
- Consider using public transportation, carpooling, and arriving early to minimize delays.
Tips to Prepare for the Career Fair

- Prepare Your Resume: Make sure your resume reflects your skills and experience clearly. Update, proofread, and print multiple copies to share.
- Dress Professionally: Aim for business casual to make a strong impression.
- Practice Your Pitch: Prepare a confident 30-second intro about who you are and what you’re seeking.
- Follow Up: Email recruiters after the fair to thank them and express interest in their roles.

UCI Division of Career Pathways Career Fairs are for all currently enrolled UCI students and UC alumni registered for UCI Division of Career Pathways Alumni Services. UCI Division of Career Pathways Graduate and Professional School Fairs are open to all UCI students, UC alumni, and community members. UCI faculty and staff are encouraged to visit all of our fairs to learn about opportunities for their students.
