Anteater Network

Certificate in College Population Health Promotion and Wellness 

This program educates undergraduate students in college health promotion principles and practices. Participants complete 5 courses in college health-related studies, two mandatory trainings, attend 3 workshops and 4 hours of job shadowing.

Field Studies in Public Health (Course #197) 

Public Health majors have direct opportunities to observe and participate in public health activities and/or research.

Global Health Certificate Program 

This program educations undergraduate students about global health issues and provides opportunities to engage in global health fieldwork either abroad or in the local community.

GPS-BioMed 

GPS-BIOMED is an NIH-funded program to create, identify and support innovative approaches to broaden graduate and postdoctoral training through exploration of diverse careers outside of academic research and provide hands-on experience.

Public Health majors have direct opportunities to observe and participate in public health activities and/or research. Students also cultivate skills for verbal and written communication of public health topics for a integrative experience.

SAGE Scholars Program – Student Achievement Guided by Experience 

This program provides undergraduates who have significant financial need with the tools to invest in their future through leadership training, career and graduate school planning, and access to internship and scholarship opportunities.

Science Careers – Individual Development Plan 

This tool includes assessments and resources to assist graduate students and postdocs with exploring more than 20 different scientific career paths.

UTeach 

This program enables upper-division undergraduates to develop & deliver their own lower-division seminar classes. Under the DUE, this program  provides a unique opportunity to integrate research, teaching, & learning.

Vault 

Learn what it’s really like to work within an industry, company, or profession. “Vault Guides” are free, downloadable ebooks that provide information about industry outlook, trends, advancement prospects, & skill requirements.
