As career readiness is critical to students’ long-term success, we invite you to attend a training session designed specifically for you to better assist students with career related questions and refer to relevant resources.
Career Conversations is an interactive training session where participants will learn about:
- the career development process
- eight key competencies employers are looking for when hiring college students
- practical career-related resources, services, and programs available to students
There are separate tracks available for 1) faculty, 2) staff, and 3) student leaders.
This 50-minute training provides an opportunity to learn how other faculty have incorporated career-related topics into their work with students, as well as to provide additional on and off campus career-related resources.
This three-hour training provides information about the career development process, key competencies all employers seek when hiring college students, and practical career-related services and programs available through DCP and beyond.

This 90-minute training highlights the career development process as well as practical career-related resources, services, and programs available for students.
